A Shout Out to all Of the Shining Stars of Room 6!

All the Shining Stars of Room 6 deserve the Star of the Week Award! All of the students really tried their best being respectful, responsible, cooperative, and safe in our classroom, in our Specials, in the halls, and on the buses. Keep Shining- you are the BEST KIDS in the State of Delaware!

Snacks

Thank you to all the parents/guardians that generously sent in snacks last week! The children reallyappreciated your thoughtfulness. If you would like to send in snacks for our snack closet, we have 24 students. Individual wrap snacks seem to be the better choice because they have been easier to distribute...and of course, we all enjoy having cookies for the cookie jar!

Make Your Oun Sundae!

On Tuesday, November 20, the Shining Stars will be having a celebration for successfully filling up their Shining Star Behavior Token Jar! They all worked hard being respectful, responsible, cooperate and safe in our classroom and throughout the school. The children will be able to make their own sundae by scooping their ice cream and choosing their own toppings: sprinkles, gummy worms, Reese's pieces, marshmallows, chocolate or strawberry syrup, whip cream...and let's not forget the cherry on the top! Congratulations Shining Stars!

Short /u/

Please have your child practice the sounds of short/u/. There are 3 new short/u/study sheets in our Study Books. Have your child read the words and sentences aloud every night. Also, have your child read the Take-Home books that are in his/her folder.
